Number of service dogs increasing

The international trend towards getting dogs to help people with a variety of disabilities is seemingly proceeding quite swiftly, with American examples becoming more prevalent. Beckham’s bulldog has luxurious flight to LA

According to the media around the globe, David Beckham has allegedly spent £2,000 flying his pet bulldog puppy to Los Angeles. The young bulldog was given to him by his wife Victoria Beckham as a Christmas gift in England. As a role model, perhaps Victoria should not have given the bulldog as a Christmas present. (more…)

How to toilet train your new puppy

A mother dog will clean up after her litter of newborn babies for up to about three weeks; after three weeks she will stop and the breeder helps to take charge.

A puppy cannot hold himself at this time of his life and puppies could relieve themselves up to 12 or more times a day.  By eight to ten weeks old, a puppy is ready to go to his new home but may not have been toilet trained yet. (more…)

Can a dog massage compensate a dog for its owner’s absence?

In the world of celebrity, there is often a focus on getting the best that money can buy. When it comes to dogs, celebrities have the disposable income to give them treats many ordinary dog owners can only dream of. However, because they are ‘time poor’ some celebrities may be substandard dog owners. If they delegate their responsibilities, dog welfare may not suffer. If delegation is utilised as an option, though, the connection between a celebrity and their dog may be a slender thing.
