Also they have more of a lab or pit bull body, shorter stockier and broader then a poodle, a better and less expensive coat and they are multicolored with a german shepherd tail that slopes down rather than a poodles poofy and fuzzy tail. A true medium sized dog, females are 55 pounds, perfect size. Anyway NOT a dog for first time owners and inexeperienced dog owners, not docile and calm! Poodles are more calm and more family dogs, both equally well with kids. Take care and good luck!!! :).
