The pet industry worldwide is estimated to be valued at more than £4 billion so it is no surprise that the range of products for dogs is vast, but does it really need to contain beer for dogs?
The local pet stores are well stocked with dog beer so somebody must be buying it, perhaps so the dogs don’t feel left out when it comes to the summer BBQ.
Late last year, Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills and his gang tried a blind taste test with dog replica foods and human foods, including dog soup, dog chocolate and of course he couldn’t resist trying dog beer, which is apparently one of the most popular alternative products for dogs.
Reportedly, they all taste nothing like the human version – I say reportedly as I can’t say I’m tempted to try them myself – so why do people buy these replica versions for dogs?
