Dog photographer of the year competition

Are you one of those people who just can’t get enough photos of your dog? Do you have pictures of your dog stuck to your fridge, hung on your wall, and even at work? Is your dog the best dog in the whole wide world?

If you answered yes to those questions, then you’ll be interested to learn about the Dog Photographer of the Year 2009 competition held by the Kennel Club.

If you’d like to enter a photo of your dog, there are four separate categories for photos:

Dogs at Work
Dogs at Play
Dog Portrait
Man’s Best Friend

It costs £3.50 to enter for each person, though there is also a free to enter category if you’re under the age of sixteen (you, not your dog). There is a maximum number of entries for each person though, so if you have hundreds of photos of your dog, you’ll need to whittle them down to the best four.

You can find out more about the competition from the Kennel Club website here.
