All dogs cost money in one way or another on things like food, dog insurance and the odd toy, but one dog accidentally spent his owner’s cash on his Xbox Live account.
According to Kotaku, one rather-less-rich dog owner named Greg fell asleep whilst Oscar, his one year old Labrador/Hound dog had a good old chomp on the Xbox controller and somehow managed to purchase 5,000 points at a cost of $62.50 on the Xbox Live account.
Greg commented via email to Kotaku:
“”I realized it when I checked my phone to see what time it was (I had to be at work soon) and saw the e-mail from Microsoft confirming the purchase for $62.50. At that point it was a little after 5 a.m… not something you want to wake up to.
“Chances are this is the first time an animal has managed to purchase Microsoft points on an Xbox 360. What are the odds that he chews on the right buttons, in the right order and moves the stick in the right directions to navigate and purchase points. 1 in a billion? More?”
Greg soon calmed down and rather than plead for a refund, he spent his points on a new controller to replace the chewed version and some new games.
