Celebrity favourite hotel gets dog-friendly upgrade

A hotel in Tewkesbury, a popular haunt for a number of celebrities, has recently added six new rooms which are completely dog-friendly.

Tewkesbury Park Hotel, which has seen esteemed guests such as Andy Parsons, Jamie Vardy and Omid Djalili, is now allowing these celebs and its other guests to bring their doggy best friends to stay the night. There are six new rooms in total, complete with memory foam beds for owners and one for their pup too.

Of the rooms in the hotel with wooden flooring, there’s even a mini bar for the pampered pooches, as well as an exclusive bathing area to wash off after a walk. Each dog-friendly room also comes with a private terrace which is enclosed and gives both owner and pup the chance to lounge and enjoy the Malvern Hills.

The price of each dog-friendly room starts at £235 per night, which includes breakfast. If you really want to spoil your pooch, pampering sets are available too.

The team at Twekesbury Hotel are committed to providing for dogs and their owners, with treats for the pups and stunning views and a golf course for the humans:

“Every attention to detail has been carefully considered to ensure a dog owner’s needs for their stay is taken care of.”

The rooms have even been approved by the hotel’s resident Cockerpoo. According to the Birmingham Mail, Waffle is ‘full of beans’, enjoys a good fuss, and can be seen enjoying the memory foam mattress on the website.
