We are proud to introduce the stud services of our exceptional Hungarian Vizsla, kennel name Thompson’s Teal. With a pedigree featuring both showing and working lines, Thompson’s Teal embodies the versatility and athleticism of the breed.
In addition to, and likely as a result of, his impressive combination of working and showing lines, Thompson’s Teal boasts excellent hip and elbow scores, and is free from any health issues or sensitivities. His father, a highly regarded show dog with an impressive record, hails from imported Hungarian lines, Int Ch Fenyoligeti Flavian-Fabian Under Geltwood (IMP HUN); while his mother is a highly skilled working bitch from a private grouse estate in the North Pennines. He is Kennel Club registered and has a full 7 generation pedigree with an excellent mix of UK and imported lines.
Not only is Thompson’s Teal an exceptional breeding prospect, but he is also a loving and devoted family pet going by his pet name “Custard” when at home. He is objectively considered by all to be a handsome example of the breed standard, as can be seen from the photos. He has been trained to work HPR, whilst retaining a warm, affectionate, and stable home manner. His eager-to-please nature makes him a pleasure to work with, doing his lines proud he is one of the few dogs that can really be called a “working pet”. He would be equally happy doing agility or showing - he just loves to work!
We are confident that Thompson’s Teal will produce strong, healthy, and high-quality offspring and we are excited to work with responsible and reputable breeders to achieve this goal. Thompson’s Teal is now just over three and a half years old and is ready to sire his first litter with an experienced bitch. As an unproven male, we are offering his services at a reduced rate, despite his impressive lineage, health and physique. Following proof of his first sire, we will be charging more.
