Dogs go to Disney Bolt cinema screening

by Lianne Wilkinson on February 3, 2009

At a special screening of the latest Disney film, Bolt, dogs will be lining up to take their seats along with their owners.

Leighton Film Theatre in Suffolk is running a special preview of the film on February 8th at 11.30am, where dog owners are welcome to purchase specially priced tickets at just 95p to take their dog in with them.

Dogs will receive their own pic n mix and dog owners will receive a poop bag in case the new experience gets too much for one or two dogs.

This unusual screening is, according to management at the theatre, the ideal way for the cinema to celebrate its 95th anniversary, although it appears not all are welcome..

Wayne Burns, manager of the film theatre, said: ”All dogs must be kept on a short lead and accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over and cats are most certainly not permitted to see the film.”

You can watch the trailer of the Disney film Bolt here – the film is officially launched on February 13th.
