Celebrity chef surprises daughter with pup
TV chef Gino D’Acampo delighted fans with an emotional family moment when he surprised his daughter with a new puppy.
The touching video showed 45-year-old D’Acampo introducing his daughter to the new member of their family – Snoop the Dachshund puppy. The chef is father to two sons – 20-year-old Luciano and 17-year-old Rocco, but it was his youngest child, daughter Mia, who is 9 years old, who received the heart-warming surprise in the video.
In the video, D’Acampo’s daughter Mia is sat on the living room sofa wearing a blindfold, while her famous father can be seen sitting on the floor with the little pooch. D’Acampo tells his daughter that he has a late Christmas present for her, and then asks her to take off her blindfold. Adorably, Mia is completely overcome with emotion and excitement when she realises what the surprise is. Jumping onto her knees to give the puppy a cuddle, Mia declares that she already loves him as her father tells her the dog’s name is Snoop.
D’Acampo lives with wife, Jessica Stellina Morrison, and their three children. Fans were thrilled to have a glimpse inside the TV chef’s home, with the video being filmed in a traditional living room complete with a stunning fireplace. D’Acampo announced the arrival of the dapple Dachshund to his 1.4 million Instagram followers, many of whom were quick to comment on the post, writing how lovely it was.
Fellow celebrities Fearne Cotton and Paddy McGuiness also commented, expressing their love for the heart-warming post.
