Hollywood star celebrates doggy birthday with photo tribute
A-list actress, Ana de Armas recently took to social media to celebrates her dog Salsa’s birthday.
The Cuban star, known for her appearances in Blonde, Blade Runner 2049 and the Bond film No Time to Die, uploaded a new post on her official Instagram account providing photos of her hairy housemate who turned 5 on Monday, May 5.
The post featured Salsa engaged in multiple activities, including sharing time with her canine brother, Elvis, de Armas’s other dog and playing with the actress herself. Videos were uploaded alongside still images including a shot of Salsa, held tight by de Amas, playing with her toys, taking a long walk and wearing a pointed party hat.
The Hollywood star captioned the post:
“My beautiful girl, mi Salsita, happy 5th birthday! I love you so much!”
Salsa rose to fame as a puppy after de Armas first shared picture of her five years ago featuring them both on a chaise lounge. The image was titled :
“Welcome to the family Salsa.”
De Armas also celebrated her elder dog Elvis’s birthday in March this year with a similar post as he turned 17. Photos on Instagram showed Elvis having naps and visiting luxury waterside locations like beaches and pools. De Armas is well-known as an attentive dog owner and is often photographed out walking her dogs and bringing them wherever she goes.
In late April, Elvis was seen on de Armas’s knee in a helicopter landing in London on the eve of her own birthday. The aircraft was piloted by Hollywood action man Tom Cruise.
